Emotional Trauma

Mental Health Month

As we begin this month it’s so important to recognize and understand what mental health is. The different compartments of mental health consists of so much. I was faced with my own mental health battle more specifically for me suffering from emotional trauma, I realized just how important it was to seek help, rather that be a from a professional or friends & family support, or just your own personal time to deal with and process your situation at that moment. It’s critical to do. Emotional trauma is when you experience something so hurtful and so impactful, that it alters your emotional state of being. You suffer emotionally, mentally and even physically from the traumatic experience that may have occur in your life. For me I expressed myself through crying, talking and just allowing myself to go through and process the emotions with no quilt.
